Ok I don't know if it is appropriate to post here but I know many here have been through benzo withdrawal too. Anyone try lactium for benzo withdrawal? I hope it doesn't affect the GABA receptors...

I'm about 4 months off SSRIs after a two year taper and on the first month off i found myself taking two months worth of benzos due to life situations and then tapered off in a week. Now being 2 1/2...

I'm sure even if you decide not to switch over, a long taper would minimize the withdrawals. Maybe if I tapered longer it wouldn't have been so tough for me, but that train has left lol.

Really? I'm guessing they were on high doses?? I was only on 0.5-1mg but still that was enough to wreck havoc on life. I should be thankful I am over the worst but really no one should ever be...

Thx brass..I want to be careful and start off low. But I'm not sure if I can split up enteric coated pills. They do have non enteric but i heard that the pills are very unstable or cause stomach...

Also keep in mind I have lyme disease..which causes a lot of my neuro symptoms. May need some help when it comes to anxiety and depression as lyme screws with the chemicals.
