speech problems

I am now 6mo. out from paxil after short term use. My question is this.

Has anyone had problems with oration. It's like the words are there
they just seem too have a hard time rolling them off ??

It isn't a problem all the time but I hate it when it happens.

I have considered getting a CT scan to see if everything is OK in the
head.

Could this be anxiety? I am a little anxious still at times but don't
have all the "typical" signs of high anxiety.

Can you still have high anxiety and not be all nervious and sweety?

Thanks Aaron

Re: speech problems

Yup I have the same problem. Had a CT scan and some type of EEG. Nothing showed up.

Put on Paxil in 1996 for Post-partum depression. After 5th withdrawal attempt, went into severe debilitating withdrawal, restarted Paxil in the ER which didn't work anymore. Taken off again quickly by a shrink, started on Lexapro. Body rejected all drugs except benzos. Currently off all drugs. I'd say I'm recovered. Yeah, I'd say so.

Re: speech problems

I never stuttered before withdrawal, but I do now sometimes, and its not even related to anxiety. Also, sometimes I'd have to pause a few seconds before getting a word out even though I knew what I wanted to say. Withdrawal seems to be 'brain fart' central.
