So I found that clip from Stephen Colbert's show satirizing pharmaceutical companies! Its spot on and hilarious! Click on The Prescott Group clip, I couldn't figure out how to link to the video directly.

Haha I knew when I saw it I had to post it... it was aired about a month or two ago. Don't you just love the terror pharmacies in Canada?!? My favorite part of the clip was the satire on how drugs work. "Once you take a pill, it goes in there and fixes whatever is wrong" hahaha just like a pinball machine. Its actually not that funny, since that's really how Pharma explains how drugs work. I'm glad 2 of the 3 drugs featured were psychiatric, I feel like more Americans than we think disapprove of widespread psychiatric drug prescribing by dr's.

I don't think we are the minority anymore. I just read a thread on an psychiatric nurses board

The OP was asking about diabetes and elevated prolactin levels. She was on Risperdal,Lexapro,Wellbutrin and Trazadone. The response she got from these learned professionals was "Generalized Anxiety Disorder" can cause those changes!!!!

No mention of the drugs or the current warnings.
