husband not supportive

after nearly 14 months withdrawl I have arrived at the conclusion that my husband does not understand any of what I have been through.Anyone else have partners that think its all in the mind!!!

All of this is almost impossible to understand or believe unless the person has personally gone through it. VERY common problem. If the doctors won't believe or understand it, how likely is it for non-doctors to believe it? (My husband knows he's lucky to still be male, and occasionally still pushes his luck.)

Diagnosed anxiety/panic disorder without agoraphobia 1989. Talk/music therapy.
Major anxiety and mild depression in 2004 from situational stressors.
Began Paxil CR 25mg, 10/04.
Quit cold-turkey 5/5/05 as demanded by doctor.
Found paxilprogress 5/17/05.
Began Paxil CR 12.5mg 5/17/05.
Weaned 4 1/2 months.
During taper - anx/panic/depression, manic episodes, agoraphobia, suicidal ideation, many other physical symptoms.
Paxil-free 10/2/05.

I agree with DeLyn. It's impossible to understand if you haven't personally lived through it. I try to only tell hubby about the major stuff that affects his life as well. The everyday stuff I save and lay on you all. He's sympathetic, but occasionally doubtful that whatever I'm going through is withdrawal related at this point. To save the argument, I just skip it.
