I was collecting a lot of information on this subject last year, writing letters, and making inquiries. Then Katrina happened, and well. let's just say I got distracted. With the kids starting school I have been filling out all kinds of information sheets. On each one in huge letters I have written out:

ABSOLUTELY NO TEEN SCREEN ALLOWED!!

They had better get the point and take it serious.

Did my bit to keep it at #1! __________________ 1996iagnosed depressed; put on 20mg Paxil 1996-1999 Never took the pills regularly: almost constant withdrawal symptoms 1999 Stopped pretty much cold turkey after my move to The Netherlands 2004 Put back on Paxil for general depression May 2005 Attempted slow wean which was not slow enough; doctor recognized my withdrawal symptoms as returning depression; returned to 20mg 2006 weening myself as of April 23 June 2006 Holding steady at 10mg due to family ''issues"

SSRI free since October 2005 (again cold turkey)

Major anxiety and mild depression in 2004 from situational stressors. Began Paxil CR 25mg, 10/04. Quit cold-turkey 5/5/05 as demanded by doctor. Found paxilprogress 5/17/05. Began Paxil CR 12.5mg 5/17/05. Weaned 4 1/2 months. During taper - anx/panic/depression, manic episodes, agoraphobia, suicidal ideation, many other physical symptoms. Paxil-free 10/2/05.
