lots!
Welcome back! Fill us in with the details of your time away, we're itching to know.
Get reading the posts and you'll see what ya missed hehe. I wrote an especially long one in the good experiences forum in reply to Phillip's post. We've been slow in receiving new anecdotes however. Sandra has been discussing the relative feeling of being crazy during withdrawal and many users posted some real encouraging and forgiving posts which is always helpful. It looks like I'm not the only who has noticed that you experience what you focus on, so focusing on being crazy will be more convincing no matter how illusionary then if you gave yourself time to be formless, without opinion. Withdrawal continues for many while others who have made it to the early stages of being free are chiming in warm words of encouragement. I've been trying to throw in my free for 2 years perspective too. It's funny, but paxilprogress visitors come and go in waves. It often goes like this: -on Paxil but thinking of going off -begin withdrawal, paxilprogress is a source of support and understanding. -get free of Paxil, lots of discussion on new discoveries of what being able to 'feel' yourself is like. -stay for months to encourage others to find themselves while recovery continues for the individual. -then the desire to move on sets in, and the visitor takes an extended holiday from our walls but comes back occasionally to spur more positive affirmation and encouragement. -meanwhile a new group of people on Paxil thinking of coming off appears in an accelerated fashion and the process repeats. I love this process thoroughly. I get to see the heroism in everyone first peek, then flourish to new heights and it's so very exciting!

HI STEVE
You missed my being in hell after 12 days paxil free. I definitely reduced too quickly. I couldn't tolerate it. I thought I was going insane and the rage and mood swings were just too much. Today I decided it just wasn't worth it, so I took some paxil. I did not succeed. Even after 12 days, instead of better it was getting worse. I'm going to stabilize back on a low dose and then decide what to do from there.
We missed you...How was it? Did you have a good time? How does it feel to be back home? Sandra |
