Head pain....not zaps

When I first started Paxil I experienced a "hot - searing type" pain in my head that was relieved by Advil. I wanted to quit then, but trusted my doctor that I'd be feeling MUCH better. Now that I'm weaning off, I'm feeling that pain again once in awhile.

It's really creepy to think that my brain in actually going through real physical changes to cause this pain. I visualize some type of "morph" happening...my poor brain morphing into a triangle instead of a round ball. Now it's morphing back into a ball.

Next time....the topic of vertigo! That's fun too

Muscle soreness

I think it's related to the muscle soreness that's connected to paxil and paxil withdrawal. Once when I tried cold turkey I developed two large knots at the base of my head that hurt all the time. Plus the type of headaches that are relieved by Advil and Motrin are the muscular, 'stress' headaches... caused by tension or trouble with TMJ (jaw tightness), etc.
