weird cramps

Hi all,

I´ve been experiencing the weirdest stuff. THe last few mornings, when I put on mypants or my shoes, you know, you have to twist the ankle a certain way, that tiwsting provoked the most painful cramp on the foot. I feel the cramp on my toes and the ball of the foot, and my toes get horribly twisted while I´m having the cramp. It´s been pretty scary. I´d like to know if anyone has felt something like that.
thank you
Diana

Hi,

I used to get those toe cramps all the time. This was way before I ever used paxil or had anxiety. I would find that it would happen mostly when my feet were cold. Not terribly cold but I might not wear socks with shoes on a cool spring day.

When I had the cramp I would stand up and press my hands against the wall and stretch out my calf and my toes until the cramp subsided. I know it is pretty painful, you can't even walk when you get them.

I found that to prevent this I would try to keep my feet somewhat warm and keep my calves limber. I haven't had it in 3 yrs.

I hope this helps!

Sandy

Hi Diana

I've also been getting cramps in my legs and arms, all through the day and night. Sometimes its so painful it wakes me up, and my leg is twisted in a weird position. My arms just ache pretty much all the time. Someone told me dehydration causes cramp so I have vowed to drink more and see if that works- hope it starts soon though

take care

tris
