Marijuana

I have seen some older posts discussing this, but they were from years ago, so I wanted to start a new one. Although I really only use marijuana at night on the weekends now, I wonder if it has any negative effects on my withdrawal. Really the only symptom I have is all kinds of eye and vision problems. I am not hooked or addicted to weed, but I enjoy using it to cool down and relax on my weekends as all day, every day I am usually worrying about my eyes, what's wrong with them and when they will get better. It's nice to forget about them a few hours a week. Marijuana never caused any problems for me pre AD's and withdrawal, so it is hard for me to believe that it is adding to my withdrawal, but who knows? Does anyone have any ideas on this? I'd prefer if people kept away from "I don't use drugs, drugs are bad" answers and supplied more scientific or fact based answers.

Thanks.

Re: Marijuana

Honestly, if you arent having increased anxiety issues from smoking then I dont see how it would be a major problem for you in terms of worsening symptoms.

Re: Marijuana

Yea, it doesn't do much to my anxiety. I guess when you have eye problems like this you just think that anything and everything will make them worse. At the same time I don't want to get anxiety of thinking I can't do anything I enjoy anymore because of my stupid eyes!

Re: Marijuana

I really don't think that it is doing any harm. I stopped using it during withdrawl because it would just make my brain fog a whole lot worse.

Re: Marijuana

Just my two cents - if it helps you to relax, then go for it! I hope you live in a state where pot posession not too serious a crime, because you definitely don't need legal hassles at this point in your life.
