How does anyone get through the crazy thought process of withdrawl?
How do people who are supporting those going through paxil withdrawl get through all the crazy, irrational thoughts that their loved one is going through? Do we, as the supporters, just suck it up and know that someday they won't think this way? Or do we run like hell (theoretically speaking, of course)? Help...this is hell for not only the one in withdrawl but for me too...

Re: How does anyone get through the crazy thought process of withdrawl?
Welcome to PP mamamia. Unfortunately the hell that we go through trying to get off these drugs affects everyone closely involved with us too. I cannot give you any help from the perspective of a loved one but there are quite a few folk like yourself on this forum. Hopefully they will be able to give you some advice and support. Hang in there ......

Re: How does anyone get through the crazy thought process of withdrawl?
Thanks...What's funny is, I've learned a lot (more than I care to know, actually) about the wd process and I can see it for what it is. I myself, have never been on an anti depressant in my life and now seeing what this has done to someone very dear to me, it is absolutely criminal that doctors so freely prescribe this poison. All I know is that I have come to realize that for those going through wd, they really need to have people in their lives who understand this and offer support. I feel bad for anyone going through wd but especially for those who might be alone in their journey.
