Buddhist meditation retreat for anxiety

I went to an 8 hour meditation retreat at a zen meditation place and it helped me relax, big time! Do you get that constant worrying feeling in your tummy and overall feel nervous? I have many days like that and the meditation really helped mellow me out. It consisted of meditation, then walking meditation, then a break. We repeated this about every hour for 8 hours or so and after a while you just sort of just let it all go and your mind becomes unstuck. Once your unstuck you can carry on free of anxious thoughts. I find Buddhist philosophy and quantum physics very helpful bc, even in withdrawal, I realize that I make my own reality and that our perception of things is usually distorted. Change your thinking, clear your mind, relax, and then your reality changes.
