Light Therapy / Light boxes
Heya PPers!
I know there's been past threads about this subject, but wanted a more up-to-date opinion with current peeps here : does anyone use a light box or other kind of light therapy product, and have you found it helpful? I'd be particularly interested to hear from any Aussies or Kiwis who have managed to find an affordable option that is available down here or ships here and is able to be used with a power converter.

Re: Light Therapy / Light boxes
I am interested in this as well. I have read several articles that state light therapy is extremely beneficial in winter months. I saw several light boxes available on ebay. I'm glad to see that someone else is thinking about this as well. It certainly seems to be a much better way to lift your mood than popping a pill.

Re: Light Therapy / Light boxes
Hi
I have a light box and I love it. I use it mainly in Nov, Dec, and Jan. That is our foggy time and sometimes we don't see sun for days and weeks on end. It helps me a lot. When we have sunshine like now there is no need for me to use it. I think for me it is the gray days that bother me, when the drapes are open and the sun shines through that is enough for me. I do not sit in the sun , only when I am out and about or working in the yard. I had melanoma and other skin cancers so I am careful about being in the sun. I take 4000IU of D3 each day and that helps. Rose32
