Re: Anxiety article; interesting with familiar names!

Now that I'm rereading my email, I didn't talk about reinstating Paxil. I talked about withdrawal symptoms and the problems I had weaning off the drug, but not the reasons for reinstating. I should have said something about it, but it didn't come up while I was writing. I talked more about the initial weaning schedule that I used last year, but not much about my experience this year. The questions were more about my experience on Paxil, the reasons I first started taking it, and why I decided to stop. Mrs. Begley said in her request that her article was about the over prescribing of SSRI, not so much about withdrawal. I think that trying to squeeze both topics into an article would be difficult. She did a great job articulating that "normal behavior is an illness" idea in her article. I liked it very much.

Great job guys. The over prescribing is out of control and people need to be aware of what is going on.

*thumbs up*

I've been reading her work for years in Newsweek, so it was pretty thilling to be interviewed by her.

A new member thought I was being too hard on him and accused me of being a troll, just coming to PP to make people feel bad. Scotty leapt to my rescue, but I couldn't resist the avatar.
