Crying

I feel like I'm obsessed with analysing how I'm feeling during withdrawal. I can think of nothing else apart from medication\symptoms. Is a percentage of withdrawal in my mind from sheer obsessivness?

Re: Crying

No you're in withdrawal and it hurts.. its normal to think about it because it bothers you. You just gotta have give it time and have faith.

Re: Crying

It's a huge part of withdrawal and I'm pretty sure the people that have recovered that don't return is cause they can finally occupy there mind on other things and have no reason to return. It will get better and will spend less time looking up symptoms on the Internet as time passes.

I'm really trying to stay positive but I can't find a post that says 'and I'm fully recovered'. Most are still struggling after months\years off.

Read LossLeader's recent post and print it out. Read RickyJohnson's updates and most recent 5 year post. All inspiring to say the least. I have gone back and read them several times. LossLeader's was great and his followup to quesions was useful as well.

I disagree with that. I didnt found it to be a positive story.

However there are SOOOO much positive stories on this forum. On the top of my head; akaenew (my personal favorite), carolyn, Drew, ryan (son of scotty), Laurie, etc etc.
But read this thread:

Re: Crying

Thanks everyone.

I'm feeling more positive today. Trying to face the fact that I'm going to have to face the 'eye of the storm' as it were.

I can pretty much accept the anxiety and tension etc. It's the dizziness and weird vision that freaks me out.

I'm definitely pushing myself though. I'm going on a helicopter ride tomorrow eeek!!!
