Sex AFTER quitting Paxil

I have been off of Paxil for about two months now, having taken it for about 4 years for anxiety. I was at about 60 mg/day early on, then for most of the time was at about 20 mg/day. I started to visit this website more and more, and realized I wanted to try dealing with the issues w/out drugs. Anyway, in the sex department, I pretty much had the classic side effects while I was taking it - reduced sex drive, and when I did, it took a long time to "finish" (or I didn't finish). Now, having been off of it for a couple of months, my sex drive is back, but I've noticed that I "finish" quicker. Of course, quicker than I'd like. I searched on these discussion boards and found a similar post from last year. Someone suggested that it is likely that it's hyper-sensitivity now that you are off of the Paxil, like the pendulum swinging the other way, but that it should subside. This whole thing has the unfortunate side effect of adding to the anxiety that I now have to deal with again being off of the Paxil. Anyone else notice this? Any suggestions? Thanks.

I had a similar hypersensitivity that lasted a few weeks. Now I'm back to a low sex drive again. My body is obviously still out of whack. But I feel like I'm hypersensitive to everything right now, including pain! This must be related to the withdrawal somehow. Otherwise, very coincidental.

Same thing...

I am now over 3 weeks 100% off Paxil. I am a guy too and experienced the same thing while withdrawing. Now I have reached a plateau with sex drive but ejaculation/orgasm do "arrive" faster. Sensitivity now fluctuates. I guess I am still chemically rewiring.
