Hiya Maple
ginger is supposed to be helpful for nausea. you can boil up some sliced ginger root in water and drink it with honey. its lovely and spicey and warm. And you can also get crystalized ginger to nibble on. hope this helps beverly |

Somone just turned me on to a great nausea 'cure'...get some bitters and mix it with a bit of water. I love it...I am also taking ginger pills making ginger tea...
Ativan is used for anti nausea and anxiety also I have used Bonine for motion sickness which can help but make you tired too... Good luck.. Mark |

I buy ginger candy in the produce section of the grocery store. It is usually coated in sugar. Drammamine over the counter (it is for air and car sickness) works pretty well, peppermint tea and ginger ale also help. Also, keep some food in your stomach at all times, don't be too hungry or too full. Nibbling on crackers often helps.

I know I know.......
I'll go get some Ginger Root tomorrow...... I'll drink it......I'll eat it......I'll smoke it... I'll do anything at this point. Ginger, Maryanne, Skipper...... Whatever it takes....to make this all ease up some.... Any more mild natural things like that you've got in mind......send em my way....... I'll go to the health food store tommorow...

NO CAFFEINE!!!!!!!!..simple diet..less fat, less sugar and fewer solids...Soup,oats and apple juice are good when you cant keep anything down...drink chamomile tea before and after eating a meal..i got these ideas from Darcy's paxil withdral guide...
for me Gravol is my new best friend...it gets rid of the nausea...makes you sleepy so you can sleep..BUT i try to only take it when the nausea is unbearable..because it is not a natural medication... cold cloth on the head helps me too.. take care, Mapleleafgirl25 |
