I'm so tired of being tired!
All I want to do is sleep
This is day three after a 2.5mg drop. The muscle twitches are back, but not too bad. My anxiety level is tolerable, though it rears it's ugly head occasionally. Hot and cold flashes occasionally. No zaps or whooshes so far this time, though. Fingers & toes XXX'd! I don't feel depressed, really, just tired; lethargic. I'm trying to work up the energy to walk 100 or so yards out to let the chickens & ducks out, feed them and collect the eggs. I can't even muster up the energy to read!! What a horror for a BookAddict like me! ;-) I just don't care... Only 22.5 mgs to go and I'll be free. I just have to hang on to that knowledge. Remember the story "The Little Engine that Could"? "I think I can, I think I can, I think I can..." That's a good motto for us! B.A.

Re: I'm so tired of being tired!
Book Addict, Ryan slept for most of his withdrawal, albeit not good sleep. The altered sleep patterns were the hardest to deal with for him. But like Darcy told me way back
"Sleeping to thwart anxiety is a natural reaction. It certainly was mine. Anxiety pumps so many hormones all over the body that its constant state of alarm and stress is very exhausting. On top of that, withrawing from Paxil is brutally exhausting. I say...let the boy sleep" So I let him sleep and he slowly improved as he weaned.

Re: I'm so tired of being tired!
Me too. On top of that, I live in a condo. The underground basement garage is leaking so there has been ongoing hammer drilling from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM since Monday. All our patios are linked and made of concrete blocks and it all has to be removed. This drilling is going to take a couple of weeks I was told. And that while tapering. :-(. I don't work, so I need to get out or try to drown out the excruciating noise.

Re: I'm so tired of being tired!
hang in there. right now during my taper , If my body says sleep I am sleeping, the withdrawal symptoms are killer on my brain, so I figure I need the rest. It does stink though, I'm not getting anything done-but I'm trying to baby myself until I least make it to 0mg!
