Anybody suffering extreme dizziness for 1.5 years+ ?

I'm feeling very sick again. Now as my school semester is finishing soon ( 5 weeks more ), I've been studying like hell ( due to the memory lost but now it's improving as I keep stressing my brain ) and I soon found my body getting hard to coordinate and balance. Whenever I walk I always feel like going to "flip over" to the back. Already 8 months since last dose on SSRI and still not feeling "right".........Hell.........

I've seen some of you here reported that the zap and mood problem ( luckily I haven't encountered so far ) can last for couple of years, while the dizziness usually clear within one or two years. Just want to know any of you are experiencing exceptional case in which the dizziness last any longer.

I was actually still playing around high dose vitamin B 5 months ago, which actually worsen my dizziness quite badly. The actual time since I last touched any neurological product ( including vitamin B, SJW, SSRI......) except TCM was the last Christmas. I'm wondering if that should be when I start counting the 1.5 year recovery time.

I want to add that the "dizziness" I describe here is the disabiling one.

Ive had dizziness on and off for over 2 years now. Its way better now and that seems to be less of a problem now....but it definitely continued for way more than 18 months

Damn.....don't know why I'm full of suicidal thoughts today.....Always worrying for not able to recover and can't even get through this semester. Life is to hard to me and just want to bail out.......Feeling all my positive thinkings have already used up and just want to run into a road and get killed by vehicles.....

I suddenly realize that suicide is quite a tempting thought when you are seeing no way out of your suffering. You feel a strange sense of peace when knowing you need not to fight anymore. And this way of thinking is very dangerous, but yet not easy to get rid of when it's a hard time.

w2kwong, life can be hard w2kwong. First let me say that it sounds to me you need to put some positive back into your life, do some things for yourself that you enjoy doing. Worrying about not getting well is only going to bring on more anxiety.

Are you part of any therapy? Have you been to the doctor regarding the dizziness to rule everything out? Both of what I mention here are very important especially since you are feeling so poorly.

Take care.

Hang in there! I just don't know what else to say. I know exactly what you mean by the above quote. I feel it at times almost every day. "Not having to fight anymore", I feel it right now. But knowing I'm not alone in that thought is actually making me feel a little better. Please don't leave us. We all need you here.

Love, Kelley
