Re: Believer......how are you doing?

Hey there Suze - thanks for thinking of me. I'm done !!!!!!!!!! Today was my first day at sleeping in, it's 11:30 and I am still in my pj's!!!! It's a good thing, this past week has been pretty rough. I'm experiencing a full range of emotional and physical withdrawal symptoms. I started liquid paxil on Tuesday. I decided to wait until returning from my trip on June 13th to do my next taper. I'm kind of bummed that I've looked forward to this trip for a full year and now I am getting very nervous about going. What if I feel miserable, what if it is one of those days where everybody and everything makes me angry, what if the late night and crazy schedule is too much for my system?????? I'm getting kind of freaked out. Anyway, I'm still here, started some new supplements and am now a true believer in my magnesium. I have no idea what happened to my bottle of it but it's been two days since I've had it and boy can I feel a difference - yuck. Unfortunately I take Magnesium taurate and can only get it online, so Hopefully my new supply will be here soon. Until then I've upped my fish oil some and started some of the other supplements i've been researching. Once again - take care and thanks for thinking of me!!!

SUMMER ROCKS!!!!!

Re: Believer......how are you doing?

GREAT to get your update!

Those "what ifs" can be a killer. Yep. The brain gets into overload mode "planning" each and every one of the possible disasters imaginable! For me, it's kinda like "well if my brain has already decided that all these things are gonna play out in this disastrous way, I may as well not even go." <sigh> Good thing that that's just NOT reality. My brain works for ME, not the other way around!

Hope you will keep on challenging that stinkin' thinkin'. Make your brain your employee, NOT your boss!

I'm sooooooo glad you got to sleep in and that the school year is done! Yippee!!!! Now it can really be all about you, and taking those baby-steps to reclaim all the beauty of who you are.

I'm at 5mg (i think that's where you are?????). We'll be away for 3 weeks, camping, so I'm not doing any more tapers either 'til we get back mid-July.

When do you leave?

Re: Believer......how are you doing?

I leave June 9 through the 13th. Doing some camping as well as going to many concerts. How much are you going to taper next? I'm trying to decide if I should do 1mg drops from here out or if I should jump to 2.5 mg? It is such a relief to be done with work, It is so great to relax with my kids and put "me" first for a while!

I'm without options, really, as the only pretty pinks covered by my insurance are the 20mg, so my next taper will be 2.5, and I'll be back to cutting these stooooooopid pills into 1/8 pieces again.
