Forgot my dose today...

now i'm at work... nothing will probably happen... but I have this sinking feeling like i am going to start having w/d effects... not that quick right? I had my normal dose at lunch yesterday...

take it as soon as you can. if you take it a little late today...and resume tomorrow the regular time you will be fine.

If you can't get to your dose, be on alert for irritability. If you begin to feel it coming on, try to take a break or get some fresh air. You might begin to feel like you're in the mood for an argument, but I learned the hard way not to go there. Also, don't allow yourself to get hungry, which might predispose you to getting irritable, like it did to me twice. The second time, a hot pretzel bought me a couple of hours of relative calm until I could get to my dose. Good luck!

How'd everything go? Did you hit any w/d bumps in your day until you were able to take your dose? I hope it was smooth sailing!!

Howdy,

My day was for the most part normal... but I do have to say by the end of the day... I felt like a time bomb... people were irritating me... I just had this urge to punch a wall or something...

I haven't felt that way... that over the top anger feeling in a long time... If there were any doubts any my mind about w/d and anger being linked... they are not there anymore...

I got my dose now... where does all that anger come from? It really baffles me... maybe it's always there and the paxil just hides it....

Also my sex drive was going bonkers all over the place... girls at work that I have flirted with before... lets just say I was very attune to them... I don't know if thats just from missing a dose or gradually coming back from my tapering.

I hope it was smooth sailing!! __________________ -Prescribed Paxil in 2000 for social anxiety disorder and panic attacks, 20mg -After the first dose, felt dizzy and disoriented, reduced to 10mg -Stabilized, continued at 10mg for 4 years -Decided to taper in January 2005, dropped to 5mg for 6 months, then tapered (too fast) to 0mg starting in June 2005. -PAXIL-FREE SINCE JULY 5, 2005 -Then found PP (wish I discovered it sooner!) -Currently on the road to recovery, experiencing every bump in the road, it seems.
