LIVE from the Paxilprotest!!

Just getting prepared for the protest. Ryan and I head out of here about noon tomorrow and WILL have the laptop with us. I'll post as often as I can and take pics. A HUGE thanks for Rob for making this possible and to Darcy for keeping the ball rolling over all these years. We WILL be heard!

What a view Laurie!! Just by looking at the pic I feel like marching my very own protest right in my living room... Just wondering what might be cooking behind those windows, especially on the top floor where the big ones usually have their offices. Keep'em coming Laurie....

The good part is that I have the "Ban Paxil" sign now in my window facing them!!! Did alot of running around with Rob, picking up last minute stuff for tomorrow. Room service now and then off to the airport to pick up Rob's wife. that's about it for today. Tomorrow is the BIG day!!

Tapering from 225 mg Effexor XR May 17, 2004. (Equiv. to 60 mg Paxil) Last taper Effexor XR Jan 17, 2006 down to ZERO. Currently protracted withdrawal. Sept 2006: 25 mg Doxepin. March 13/09: 10 mg Desipramine

Paxil/Seroxat 20 mg 2001-2003 then switched to 50 mg Zoloft without any WD problems after the switch. Zoloft later increased to 75 mg. 2004 tapered Zoloft too quickly after sudden onset of muscle stiffness and extreme restlessness on full dose. Severe and prolonged WD problem with a long list of symptoms. Considerable mental but very little physical improvement so far. Last Zoloft dose April 18 2004.

Began Paxil CR 25mg, 10/04. Quit cold-turkey 5/5/05 as demanded by doctor. Found paxilprogress 5/17/05. Began Paxil CR 12.5mg 5/17/05. Weaned 4 1/2 months. During taper - anx/panic/depression, manic episodes, agoraphobia, suicidal ideation, many other physical symptoms. Paxil-free 10/2/05.

Lilly __________________ 1 .5 Xanax a day for one month. C/T. Same year, 3 .5 mil Xanax a day, 4 by the end. Pooped out on me. 1 1/2 years on the drug. Doctors taper. Very bad w/d. 9 months later took 10 mg Paxil and my Xanax w/d dissapeared. On 20 mg by end. Pooped out on me. C/T then restarted it again after 3 days and big blow up. 6 months taper, never feeling much better. 2 1/2 years solid w/d then sporadic stuff for 5 years. Completely recovered! Drug free since June 2001.
