Finally made a breakthrough
I have been tapering off Paxil for awhile now. I am down to 5mg. For the last month or so that i have been on the 5 mg I would notice that if I forgot to take my pill in the morning, a few hours later I would feel that stoned feeling. I finally got past that 24hr time frame and can now go a whole day without a pill. The next day I feel that same stoned feeling which clears up after taking the pill. I feel like my brain is slowly adjusting to the withdrawal.
Something else that has happened since I tapered to 5mg is that i am cleaning my house again. Before it didn't matter to me if it was a pig sty. Now, it matters! I thought the Paxil was supposed to help us with depression, lethargy being one of the symptoms, but coming off feels like I am losing that lethargic feeling |

Re: Finally made a breakthrough
I love it when I hear members start to say they are 'feeling' again, they care about things, have emotions. It is amazing, and it only gets better!

Re: Finally made a breakthrough
I've noticed that the day after a dose reduction, I get an energy burst and take advantage of it. Not by overdoing it though because I don't want to "pay" for it over the next day(s).
It is slowly getting better..... could be due to the very long tapering.
