External Resources: Books, websites, etc...

I think it would be really useful if we had a thread focusing on resources relating to psychiatric drugs and resources that helped you educate yourself with withdrawal. It seems like these resources are scattered throughout various threads, so what are some things that you found helpful?

Aside from the obvious, like Toxic Psychiatry and Prozac Backlash, both of which should be staples for someone in withdrawal. I found Dr. Andrew Weil's books enlightening, and immensly helpful for understanding the brain and how drugs work. Especially From Chocolate to Morphine and The Natural Mind.

Re: External Resources: Books, websites, etc...

Well I guess no one had anything to add...

Some you may have already noticed that Erowid is one of my favorite sites, and is one of the most visited drug sites on the entire internet. They have "vaults" for every drug, legal, illegal and natural. The reason I am posting this is because i want to encourage people to share their stories in other parts of the internet, and to spread information about how dangerous these drugs are. You can post your experiences there and perhaps YOU can inform someone of the REAL side-effects before they decide to take them!

Up one level, there's a section paxilprogress > Paxil > News/Resources/Articles/Books. (It is confusing because everything branches off the Paxil node.)

I just started a thread and would love contributions:

Here's your chance: Edit wiki on Paxil

(I enjoy erowid but, let's face it, its sponsors are a bunch of druggies. Not that I have anything against druggies, don't get me wrong.)
