Feel like s**t again!!

Head feel full ,ears feel full like I have a real bad headcold.Balance is awful (feel like I am on a boat) all the time this week. Also a bit of anxiety creeping back.BUT
No tears for 2 weeks!
Does anyone else find their symptoms shift, tail off and then come back. I keep thinking I will have a good bout soon but I am fast losing all hope.

Squirrel,

As abnormal as it seems, i think it's normal for us. I'll be feeling actually ok and it'll go to crap in less than 2 seconds. Don't lose hope. I think it's just part of what we're gonna be going through for a long time. But it will eventually be over. So i keep tellin myself!

These espisodes come and go. You will eventually get some good periods, the bad days will get farther and farther apart until they disappear. Use the good days to carry you through the bad ones.
Take care.

Definitely, squirrel, bouts of anxiety and depression for tiny reasons or no apparent reason, the return of physical symptoms that had left. As has been said on this board, we have to look at our progress in terms of months, not days -- that's the best way to see that change really is happening. Or as Shea has said -- we are healing but it's so hard to detect, it's like trying to catch grass growing.

Re: Feel like s**t again!!

My symptoms definitely ebb and flow. I think that's part of what makes it so hard. You begin to have good moments and days and then the bad moments seem like such a setback. At the beginning of withdrawal it was easier in a way because every day was awful. Now, 8 months off the bad days return with a vengeance and I start to get upset that maybe withdrawal will never end. It's really frustrating when I'll have a week of good days and then all of sudden BAM; panic attack out of no where, or I"ll wake up twitching real bad. But that fact that you're having symptoms recede and then come back is a sign of healing, in my eyes. Just very slow healing .

Re: Feel like s**t again!!

Same exact thing here. This week has been a thick-headed, off-balance mess for me. Its uncomfortable and induces a bit of anxiety now and then. I hate the feelings, but I keep reminding myself of how much worse things were even 6 weeks ago.

Symptoms come and go. The improvement curve is not perfectly smooth. Its really a jagged line full of peaks and valleys. One can only see the continual upward trend (feeling better) when viewing the WHOLE picture.

Re: Feel like s**t again!!

Hello -
I have gone from 20 - 10mg in about one month..
The first week was MISERALBLE.. I am doing really well this week... But I have this strange EYE twitch.. Feels really strange.. I was only nausaus three times today.. But I am very tired.. I am fearing the next drop in my dose.. I have not determind that date yet...
I read that thread about only decreasing the dose by 10% per time..
How often are you dropping your doses? I am shooting for next week to drop to 5mg?? What if any are your thoughts and suggestions?

That is brand new info, from someone we believe has a serious clue in this process. i would go for only 10% drop if you can.. they say from 10mg down is the worst.. so you might as well try and alleviate withdrawals any way that you can!

Exactly!!! The lower doses are the hardest. You should wait at least 3-4 weeks in between weans. What were you planning on dropping to?
