did I stop too soon

Further to my last post I feel Like S**T .Was I ill advised to stop Paxil at 5mg?

Yes, stopping at 5mg is too high a dose to stop from. We've recieved some new information on weaning just yesterday and going extremely slow, especially at the lower doses is critical. 10% of your current dosage is what some are recommending for each wean. This is going to require liquid paxil. When did you stop completely?

squirrel, i think this far in, you should try and tough it out if you can. it is almost a year! some people start seeing dramatic changes around that time!
try and hang in there if you can! you can do it!

Yup, to long off to consider going back on. Ride it out. You're coming into the time period when this should start to calm down. Remember, paxil withdrawal doesn't exempt you from viruses and the flu!!!!

Oh, never run out of optimism!! Ryan is 19 months off and still improving today!!! This is a LONG process with no definitive timeline. It is what it is.

I did a to fast wean and now I don't seem to tolerate Paxil anymore. WTH to do?? I am 1 year off Paxil the 1 Mars and no improvement. I feel like **** every day.

Diagnose: Severe social phobia with panics

- 94 started with Celexa
- 96 started with Nefadar
- 97 trials with Efexor, Prozac, Aurorix
- 97 Anafranil (TCA)
- 02 weaned off Anafranil, restarted 3 months later
- 03 switched from Anafranil to Paxil
- 05 weaned off Paxil to fast, 3 months

*Paxilfree since 1 Mars 05*
