Update - No meds perscribed

Hello all,

Just a quick update. I went to the DR yesterday and layed out all my issues I was having in just the short amount of time on Paxil. The headaches (migrains 6 days in a row), the sexual sideffects, tired etc....

He agreed that for me the risks of the meds well outweighed the so called "Good" they could do.

So... I am going to continue the therapy, and keep up my own efforts thus far to better channel the negative energy I have in certain situations.

Thanks for all the support. I will be around.

Chris

Chris,
So happy to hear that your doctor didn't try to write you a Rx for something else instead of Paxil. Glad you are going to continue therapy, hopefully you will learn some coping skills that you can use when needed. Try to implement time for yourself, e.g. "self care" for reading, exercising, meditation, whatever you enjoy doing. Take the supplements suggested here such as magnesium and fish oil also. Good luck to you. Keep us posted.
