Label for the CD

I think I've decided to use this grapic for the CD label.

Not to bad, They will cost about 50 cents each to make if I buy supplies from office depot but buying bulk media either off the internet I hope to get the cost down to maybe 35 cents. The good thing is that I don't have to make a set quantity. If I need one to send to local police or a public defender I can print just one. What I hope is that it will work like the movie pay it forward. Say I make just 100 copies and send them out and ask the recipients to each make 10 and give them away we're now up to 1000 copies and if that happens 3 more times we then have 1 million copies that have been distributed. Will it work? I have no idea but if I don't try it has no chance. Is this the end all in this fight? Absolutely not! Will it help? I hope so.

I plan to make a lot more than 100 copies and I'm going to look for Government grant money to pay for them. They give it away for other things, they might as well spend a little for a good cause.

Sorry I rambled on

Re: Label for the CD

FYI

It looks like I'll be able to make the CD's for about 30 cents each plus whatever it costs for the ink to print the label. This is printing directly on the CD rather than an adhesive label and includes putting them in a sleave with a window.

I still haven't found a grant but maybe in time..... Maybe I won't need it.

Could have unseasonably warm temperatures for some "hero's" in Philly in the near future. Might even get a little hot around the collar........

Re: Label for the CD

Due to anticipated ink cost I have redesigned the CD Label but I would like your feedback. Any suggestions on content or layout will be appreciated.

Please don't hold back, point out errors etc. I know I'm very capable of stupid mistakes. If anyone has any experience printing directly to a CD or DVD which is better, white or silver

Re: Label for the CD

I am thinking about a series of labels for the CD that include an image of a suicide Victim. I don't have any idea how they'll print yet but thought I'd get some feedback if anyone is interested.
