IBS hell

Hi everyone

I am now on day 20 of going from 10mgs to 5mgs .My ibs (doctor said it was this) is back. The bloating, the pain, the spasms, the diarhea, the constipation.
Oh my god.

My doctor said paroxetine helps ibs and now I am coming off it, my ibs is coming back.

I feel like Im damned if I take it and damned if I dont.

Anyone else struggling with this.

I can put up with dizziness, sweating and everything else to a certain extend but this is murder.

Re: IBS hell

IBS is a common diagnosis in withdrawal.... it sucks, but it does go away for most.

Re: IBS hell

it's not necessarily ibs coming back as much as it's an effect of quitting paxil... i had terrible problems with that and still do though it's not as bad. I never had it before drugs.
