Re: annoying symptom

I get that symptom. Weak arms or legs. Like my arm will just give out. Sometimes it'll be like i'm moving in slow motion. It's gotten better as of lately. I think it's a normal thing in withdrawl, but paxil is known to wreak havock on our central nervous systems.

Yes, definitely have it. It does get less frequent the further out, but still scary and annoying. (OMG, do I have muscular dystrophy or some other muscular disease? )

Yes, I get that. My arms too. I've had my arms get sore just wiping the counters off at home.

Why does it prevent you from doing anything? I deal with that particular feeling almost every day for at least a little while. It can strike while sitting, standing, walking, running, lying down, driving, etc. Next time it happens, go stand next to a chair or something you can hold on to. Bend at the knees about a quarter of the way down, enough to put strain on your quadriceps (the front of your thigh). Stop. Stay there for 10 seconds or so. Guess what? Even though your legs feel weak, they'll hold you up just fine.

Again, the trick here is grasping the concept that what you think and feel are not indicative of reality right now. The sensations might be uncomfortable, but they are not dangerous. Learn not to fear them and you make a GIANT step forward.

Re: annoying symptom

Paxiltowelly,

I've had moments of weakness in my legs, but for me my issue was my lower back.

Cool avatar by the way, I've been racking my brains trying to figure out what it is....it is the Angelicus? I can't remember the name of the artist.

It's amazing how much alike we all are. I used to think like that also, especially since I passed out a couple of times. Heart specialist told me it was high blood pressure medication . It was really too much serotonin in my brain.

Anyway...

I'm feeling more and more depressed. Not that before I felt great, but now I start to get this "I don't care" attitude I hope it won't get worse.

Re: annoying symptom

yeah we are in two very different time zones! How is the boyfriend issue? I guess the dont care attitude is better than a stressed out one.

Re: annoying symptom

Well, nothing's changed. He called yesterday to say he's out the city for few days (we have a long weekend coming in Poland). Than an argument started. I just can't see how we can agree.

I'm worried about my future, I can't imagine being with someone else...

But we're slightly off topic
