Seredyn

Hello everyone. I am new. I would like to get off of Paxil as painless as possible. I was looking on the internet and found a suppliment called "Seredyn". Has anyone here heard of it or is taking it for panic attacks? Can anyone tell me anything about it or any other natural suppliment that will assist me getting off of Paxil. FYI I just cut down to 15mg a day.

Re: Seredyn

Upon cursory examination through google, it looks like seredyn has the same active ingredient that Xanax has, which would make it a highly addictive benzo. Yikes! Beware! If your looking to get off of Paxil as painlessly as possible a 25% reduction in dose is not the best way to do it. 10% is a more reasonable reduction and even that is tough for some. Be sure you take a consistant daily dose and wait at least three weeks to taper again, possibly longer if you continue to have symptoms. If you would like to take supplements to make it easier, read our supplements section, particularly about magnesium and fish oil. I would stay far away from anything benzo-like unless you wanted to deal with a far more difficult withdrawal scenerio.

Welcome and best of luck!

Re: Seredyn

I agree, 10% cut is the way to go for success. A slow withdrawal is less severe, taking other drugs to get through the process may not even be an issue.

Re: Seredyn

Katesmom THANK YOU sooo much. I definitely do not want to start taking anything else addicting. I will read more on the magnesium and fish oil. Oh and so far going down to 15mg I haven't had any withdrawl. Praise God!!!

Re: Seredyn

How can Seredyn have the same active ingredient as Xanax? L-theanine is not addictive...
