cant do it gone back up

too much today had enough of 2.5 mgs,its day 17 of 2.5mgs, its too much for one person to bear imade the decision ive gone up to 4mgs. see how that goes.

Started taking paroxetine 20mg 1995
Reduced to 5mg July -January 2005/6
Back up to 20mg Jan 2006
Back down to 10mg April 2006
5mg from 9 April 2006
2.5mg from 1 May 2006 (bloody horrendous!!)
Up to 4mg from 17 may 2006

Those last drops can really be the toughest. I hope you find some relief with the increased dose ... there's no rush to get off, let your body be your guide.

Good decision, Greenslade. I made a couple of adjustments at the low doses. It's important that we listen to our bodies.

It's possible going to 4mgs may not do it for you. Go higher if you need to - maybe 7.5 or even 10, and stay there until you feel completely well! Once things ease up for you, try going the liquid paxil route and wean by 1mg at a time - staying there for a month at least before you try another wean.

Aug 1998 started Zoloft for Panic and GAD.
Went on and off Zoloft (cold turkey) for the next 3 years.
Was med free from Jan 2002 to March 2003.
Put on Paxil for severe anxiety attack March 2003
Quit cold turkey Feb or March 2005.
Unable to cold turkey paxilprogress.


All I want from livin' is to have no chains on me...

stay there until you're ready... i was on a low dose of lexapro for a year before i was even ready to taper finally.

Now that I am on the last 2 mg of Lexapro ,my /wd sx are more.Pls tell me how you tapered the last dose of lexapro ?
