one week off

I started my wean from Paxil in January. Here it is May and I've been off it totally for two weeks. I weaned down the last 5MILS with Liquid Paxil.
So far, I feel emotionally strong and upbeat about life in general but I have experienced some of the expected physical symptoms connected with withdrawal--all of which I've expected and I expect more of the ugly creatures to raise up every now and again. Hopefully I will meet them head on with faith in one hand and PaxilProgress.org in the other and will prevail.
Thanks to everyone who has shared your personal stories on here. They've been very encouraging to me as I went through the weaning.
I thank God daily for letting me find this forum on line. You all are doing a wonderful thing for so many

Sounds like you have the attitude for success: expect the worst, hope for the best! I hope everything continues to go smoothly for you.

Re: one week off

Hi Dave
I have also been off Paxil for about a week after doing a similar ween to you, although a bit shorter timeframe. I don't feel very good at the moment, very flat, scared, worried, headaches, lightheaded sometimes etc. I get great comfort from this site, in fact I would say that this site had made the difference of me being able to hang in there and get off this stuff, and giving in and going back on it. Thanks everyone. I just hope things will get better.
