Anti-depressant fact book.

I just got done reading Dr. Peter Breggins book, The Anti-depressant Fact Book. It mad me mad about how the drug companies, etc screwed us over, but also encouraged me that I don't or didn't before the drugs have a chemical imbalence. I wish I had known all this prior to 1998.
I also read most of his book, Toxic Psychiatry. Had to return that one to the library, but will probably check-it out again and finish sometime. Even after reading these books it is a scary thought to me that some day I will be completely off and I don't know how that will be. I'm on 30 mg. Celexa now and I was on Paxil for 5 years before. Anyway, I guess its the drugs talking because I feel so weak like how can I function without them, even though I hate them. I know this sounds confusing. I'm also addicted to sugar soft drinks and want to get off for my weight and all. I crave them so much, I don't know why its so hard just to quit and not drink them except very rarely.

Re: Anti-depressant fact book.

You'll find those sugar cravings to away as the drug does.
