patience

I'm having a hard time with not having any patience. After a really hard week with the school bus I think I'm just mentally beat. Knowing that and forgiving myself are 2 different things. Everything is irritating me. If I make it through the day without kicking the dog it will be a miracle. Im trying to do little small jobs to work out of it but I'm just ranting. Damn dog!!!!! He's not doing anything except trying to anticipate my every move. The rage I had early on is gone but so is my patience. I want to ride my horse but with my sunny disposition I'm afraid it won't be a pleasant ride. Safety first. Now the neighbors dogs have started their 2 hour barking ritual..arggggg.. can I increase my fishoil supplements when I'm like this? Will it help? Could it hurt?I'm trying to be a little silly so I don't sound like the wretch that I seem to be turning into

Re: patience

Just breath and think pleasant thoughts. And don't kick any dogs!!!

It's ok to have days like this, meditate, pray, lay down and close your eyes. Do whatever you can to relax yourself and calm your anger. It will go away.

As far as increasing, I don't know what, if anything, it could hurt. It may give you some tummy upset.

Re: patience

Well tina...grap that pillow and sream ionto it..punch it...kcik it..throw it againt the wall..pick it up and punch it some more.....

Try and keep out of stresful situations when feeling like this..try to remember, before lashing out, that you are in a very sensitive position...tell those around you that you are on a rzor thin patience line..they need to kow that you are violatile right now...

this will pass, just like the res of the sensory gifts given to us by GSK....like ANger , rage, crying, etc........and if I may add...Kudos for you...for recognizing the situation and for doing someting about it..BRAVO!!!!!!

Re: patience

I'm still not much on patience. It's more of a 'tolerance' thing.

Focus your attention on the here and now. Recognize it for what it is: the one moment of the only life you will ever have that you truly possess. Rare is the individual who has come to completely accept that the past is no more than a memory and the future an assumption about unborn events.

Thanks! That's my middle kid who pretty much lives in detention, but it's a happy place for her.

Re: patience

Just letting you know that I was laughing so hard at your responses that I actually made it through the day without kicking the dog. I actually ended up having a good day. Thank you all. Not that I'm paranoid, but just in case anyone really thought my dog was in danger. I really don't kick or hurt my dog at all. I just rant at him.

All to much fish oil will do is make you want to swim naked, eat bugs and move your mouth funny. I have no idea but I hope you feel better soon.
