Re: Price of your paxil?

I don't really have an answer, but CR or regular will make a difference. If it's the generic, you can call around to pharmacies. Some, like Sam's and Cosco are particularly cheap.

Re: Price of your paxil?

If I remember correctly - it was $80 w/o and $20 with. Generic is like $12 with insurance.

Re: Price of your paxil?

Mine was $20 a month. Never did the CR. It was still $20 a month when insurance forced me to generic. Now, the liquid I weaned on was about $200.00 WITH insurance!!!!

Years lost - 10 (this includes the year I have now spent in cold turkey withdrawal and then going back on to wean).

Loved your post Llew!

Focus your attention on the here and now. Recognize it for what it is: the one moment of the only life you will ever have that you truly possess. Rare is the individual who has come to completely accept that the past is no more than a memory and the future an assumption about unborn events.

Re: Price of your paxil?

Watch out for "effectiveness" of any generic product. I've read that The FDA allows up to 20% of leeway on generic drugs. So if anyone would switch from Paxil to a generic paroxetine product, you could be getting only 80% of the active ingredient and therefore experience withdrawl symptoms without knowing what hit you!!
