Dizziness

when does it stop?? I finished my wean and have not taken anything since this past Saturday. Monday evening, the dizziness started and has not let up at all. It comes in waves and I get extremely tired with it.
Anyone experience this? What helps?? I called the doctor and he wants to see me on Monday, but I do not want to go back on again!!!!!!!!

Re: Dizziness

nalphee, i looked at your posts and believe it or not that was a pretty rapid taper and 10 mg for 10 months is long enough for you to experience all the crap lots of us do so don't be too surprised by how bad w/d can get. But, please hang in there. i think you will be just fine, check out supplements, read the paxil withdrawal guide (you can download it), keep posting, resting and getting the support you need. It will get better.

Re: Dizziness

I actually feel really good besides the whooshing crap. The first few weeks were really trying, but I just kept telling myself "I can do this". A friend of mine gave me some rescue remedy - it's a flower-based spray that you put on your tongue when you start to freak. I actually have been using it daily and I think it works - maybe mind over matter, but whatever! I just need this whoosh to go away!

Re: Dizziness

That dizzyness and nausea was really bad for me. Some days Im sure I shouldn't have even been driving. I found that strenuous physical exercise made it better for me. Don't know why. I also took 'motion eze' that I got at the health food store. It does go away with time but really stinks when its happening. Mine lasted several weeks also. Just when I thought I couldn't take anymore it finally got better but then i got horrendous anxiety in its place. You might not, I'm just sharing what happened to me.

I wish you luck and welcome to pp. There is lots of wonderful information on this site and I hope you read alot and gather information before going to the doc on Monday. Most docs do not acknowledge the severe withdrawl symptoms that some of us experience. I know its hard to read much when the dizzyness is going on, and the information can be a little overwhelming. Good luck.
