magnesium help

i looked on google and all that came up for magnesium citrate is a laxative! I was a little scared to take it last night so i took 1/2 a pill. I also read you cannot take it more than one week.

Can you all tell me what does magnesium do for us paxil withdrawers .

I do feel ok after taking that and the fish oil last night..

Also.. it was harder to fall asleep.. anyone know what helps with that?

Wish me luck.. today is a long grueling day at work. Work in a store and it's sale week ikes!

Re: magnesium help

the miracle of magnesium

it helps calm the nervous system... as much as it can be calmed in this. Whenever i would stop it i would have heart palpitations and adrenaline rushes.

Re: magnesium help

You will feel a calming effect within an hour if you take it when you are stressed. Its pretty weird.

Re: magnesium help

It only works as a laxative in super high doses. I take 600mg per day and haven't had any problem. I take Magnesium Glycinate as suggested by my Naturopathic Doctor.
