thinking of starting action

What are my chances here in Australia?

What kind of lawyer should I see?

Not sure if this is the path I want to take yet, as this kind of thing takes a lot of energy and committment - something I just don't have at the moment.

I don't know a thing about the legal system there but I would suggest speaking with a lawyer so you don't miss your chance. I would also suggest looking at a large firm with the resources to fight the battle.

Depending on what kind of treatment you got, you might be able to sue your doctor for malpractice.
