Vertigo -a magnesium deficiency sysmptom?

I was wondering if anyone has experienced vertigo as a sign of Mg deficiency. This is my main sysmptom along with tachychardias (sp?).

A year ago I have very successfully treated my racing heart with Mg supplements but a year later it came back (I stopped taking the supplements after I got better) but this time with episodes of vertigo. It feels pretty much like this (lightheadedness, unstable on my feet, sometimes like the floor is moving under me) It comes and goes, some days are better than others. (bloodwork was done and is all normal)

I have read on other sites that vertigo is a symptom of Mg deficiency but was surprised that nothing is mentioned about it in the Sticky article.

Anyone with the same symptoms please write! Vertigo can be so scary sometimes.. Did Mg supplements help you? Any other advice?

Thanks!

Irina, do you have past usage of SSRIs or are you simply interested in magnesium?

So many things can cause these symptoms, from ear & sinus infections to thyroid dysfunction. If you're very concerned, suggest more tests.
