7.5mg from 10mg
my last drop was on christmas I went from 15mg to 10mg...a couple of rough days where I felt irritated then Ive stabailized. The problem is I cant stop thinking about my ex-girlfriend who left 2 months before I start withdrawal. I wonder if the withdrawal is making me more weak or sentimental. I used to be strong with a high self-esteem but this girl took everything from me. Somedays though I feel powerful and just dont think about her and the next day I become weak. I think It could be only this drug that messes around with my head...ahh womens !!
Here I am today 3 weeks since my last drop cutting of this pill a little bit more. I was so tempted to go down to 5mg but I must play smart and drop slowly so Ill try 7.5mg for a couple of days. I started to read the book '' Power Over Panic '' from Bronwyn Fox and I must admit that I love it. She knows her stuff and I really recommend it. This book really motivates me to go trough withdrawal and It teaches me a lot of coping skills. I read it with passion and Im ready to do whatever it takes to be drug free and find myself ...the real me that I miss so much. Its gonna be an upgraded version of me with new coping skills and knowledge god bless you all

Good job and good luck! That is one of my absolute favorite books.

Re: 7.5mg from 10mg
You were smart to stay at 7.5 mg. At these low doses, some people are going much slower.

Re: 7.5mg from 10mg
Hey Christag,
I find that when I am in withdrawal that causes me serious depression, if I am not careful, I can start to attach other reasons to the depression. To explain: I am anxious/depressed because of WITHDRAWAL. I remind myself that this is WITHDRAWAL, not a relapse into depression. If the withdrawal induced depression continues, my mind starts to wander into other territory. I will think I am depressed because of other reasons eg:a traumatic childhood. I am not really depressed because of this, but because I have been down for a while, my thinking becomes skewed. I know I have dealt with the childhood issues reasonably thoroughly, so logically the depression/anxiety is not really me, it is withdrawal. Make sense? I just thought of this, because if, at your strong moments, you are really over your girlfriend, then perhaps when you are anxious/depressed in withdrawal, you are looking for other reasons for the anxiety/depression. Just a thought! Hope I am making sense. Kelli

Kelli, what a wonderful post. You explained it perfectly. I'm going to try and remember that when I cut again.

Re: 7.5mg from 10mg
thanks kelli your post has made my day !! I think it really makes sense what you said because I remembered that in my strong moments I dont think that much about her. You know some days I hope that I can cry and take out all the pain she put me trough but I dont for some reasons I just cant. Then people tell me that Im young healthy good looking smart guy...you know thats why friends are made for....but it seems that I understand but I dont necessarily realize it. Its like my brain dont let me feel happiness or relief but only pain or sadness. So from now on I will tell myself that its withdrawal that is messing with my brain.
thank you kelli ... thank you all

Re: 7.5mg from 10mg
Good on you, Chris.
Yes, we must allow our LOGIC to override our EMOTIONS. When we have moments when we think negative things like "I'll never be any good" etc, it is time to GET LOGICAL. We have to question those statements, look at the ACTUAL EVIDENCE, then we can see that we are not the complete loser we thought we were. Kelli
