Feels like a roller coaster ride.

For the past several days I have been having this sensation in the pit of my stomach that goes up to my chest. It feels like Im the top of a roller coaster plumiting down. I never had the feeling before now. It comes out of no where. I can be talking to someone and all of a sudden out of no where I get this feeling. Has anyone else ever experienced this ?

Yes. Sounds like a tap of the wand of the anxiety fairy. Breathe through the episode - controlled breathing. Focus on an object, breathe, counting to 5 or 10 in and out. These should diminish over time.

I think Delyn's right. I get that occasionally for no reason. I got used to it and ignored it, and it went away on its own.

Re: Feels like a roller coaster ride.

That's probably the biggest factor. I bet t starts to diminish as you adjust to the lower dose.

Re: Feels like a roller coaster ride.

I don't know if this is related at all but throughout tapering i'd have times when I would lie down in bed for the night and repeatedly feel like my body was falling through space, the elevator feeling, but all over. A couple times recently I had the feeling- get this - that my left leg (only) dropped off and was falling. So many new and unique experiences on this journey!!

Re: Feels like a roller coaster ride.

I call these adrenaline "dumps" and they suck big time. But, they do lessen with time. Hope you feel better soon.

Focus your attention on the here and now. Recognize it for what it is: the one moment of the only life you will ever have that you truly possess. Rare is the individual who has come to completely accept that the past is no more than a memory and the future an assumption about unborn events.
