Washington, DC - Tomorrow, Congressman John F. Tierney (D-MA), joined by Congressman Jim Ramstad (R-MN), will introduce the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Safety Act, a bipartisan bill aimed at ensuring the FDA has the capability to monitor and protect patient safety after a drug has been approved. The legislation will restructure the FDA by creating a new, independent entity within the agency to review drugs and biological products once they are on the market.

This is the companion Bill in the Assembly for the Grassley/Dodd(senate) bill..this is the one I want!!
