strange night

Hi, I'm doing bad at the moment. This night I had a panic attack and a zap during a dream, has this ever happened to you? I felt a bit of electricity in my head...

Re: strange night

Many members complain of waking up in the midst of panic, it is fairly common, and it will pass.

Let it roll, if you fear the panic, it will put more stress on you and become a vicious cycle.

Re: strange night

I can't control myself, everything seems so difficult even going outside and chat to a friend. I don't want to see anyone or do anything. My vision sucks.

Re: strange night

My daughter spent a period inside without wishing contact from others as well. It is difficult, but it does pass.

Re: strange night

Rita, You and you daughter are heroes, thanks to you and PP I'm alive! I'm going through this experience for the 3rd time.. I dont remember how good life is...

Do you think there's any problem taking a benzo (tiny tiny dose) to relieve symptoms...

Re: strange night

Many people use benzo's to ease the symptoms. It is only a problem when you take daily doses as they are very addictive. Taking one when symptoms are bad will help you through the process.

Re: strange night

Well Paul..looks like last week was my week this week is yours.... yeah this is completely normal. Keep in mind after a Panic attack your body has experienced an type of trauma.. be gentle..some fresh air of course helps..

Today I am going back to work to do some "light work" I am nervous...don't know what to expect...we'll see.

It will pass

Regards, Johnny

Re: strange night

Paul I did fine..the proof if I overdid myself will be tonight. The morning I was nervous and every little pain or spasm in my chest muscles was making me more nervous..nope its not and was not a heart attack in progress..just withdrawal..but it put me on edge all morning..suddenly by noon I felt ok..I was extremely careful not to do to much strenuous work..now the only way I really know if I " passed the test"..is what happens from this time on until tomorrow morning..I want to work.. I need to work..this is so difficult, its like trying to balance an elephant on a string.

Regards, Johnny
