simple joys

First of all - I have to say that I absolutely adore and love my husband. He has been my rock through this whole, horrible situation of mine. A lesser man would have left.

Anyway - tonight he got a load of warm towels out of the dryer and brought them in the living room. He told me to lay down on the couch and he covered me with the warm towels. It was wonderful !! I spent the next 20 minutes laying on the couch, under "fresh from the dryer" towels, praying. He would just come in there and smile at me - I loved it !!!

I came sooooooooo close to taking a plea and ending this mess but he talked me out of it today. I love that man !!!

I'm jealous!! But I'm happy yuou have such a great foundation of support in your partner - withdrawal must be so much easier with that.

Re: simple joys

Scotia, that's just a wonderful post! It's so important to have a partner who is so supportive. I know, I'd have thrown in the towel a long time ago without Nathan.

I jokingly tell him, he's in for a treat once I'm totally Paxil free!

Re: simple joys

Scotia he certainly sounds like a wonderful husband and I'm glad that you have him to support you through this horrid time. You are obviously one heck of a wife and he knows he has to treasure you!

Re: simple joys

Tell your husband that we all think he is wonderful.....

I have to admit that I lucked out the second time around....though mine wouldn't think to cover me with warm straight-out-of-the-dryer towels, he knows how to deal with me during my bad days and I can't ask for more than that!
