Terminology Help

Coming from down under in NZ a lot of your terms escape me.
What's poop out?
Do your brand of paroxetine come in all different sizes. We only have 20mg tabs in NZ that can be doubled or trippled or halved.

Hi Brenda,

As Nedlead said poop-out is when the drug stops working. Many of us arrive on the site at this stage. For me it hit at 6+1/2 years and I felt v ill. Often you start to get some w/d symptoms. For me, it was like I had 'flu. I was dizzy and having hot sweats, terrible anxiety and depression. Until I came to Paxil Progress I didn't know what was happening.

In the UK we have just been given the 10mg tablet, other than that it's the 20mg and 30mg's. We do have a liquid form to help weaning but it makes me feel ill for some unknown reason (a very small minority have this problem). I have to chip and weigh the tablets and am lucky that a friend can weigh them where they work. I think Songbird (also from NZ) bought a set of scales to weigh the tablets. It gives accuracy and smaller cuts.

Take care,

nicci

Re: Terminology Help

Thx so much for your replies.

It explains why I feel like poop. I have had to stop taking my 20mg cold turkey because of this extreme drug reaction to the change to the cheaper funded drug. Why is anyone allowed to prescribe this stuff????!!! I'll be praying for you all. Take care.
