An update

Hi everyone. Although I have been a member of this group since my withdrawal ordeal started, I haven't posted much. I ask forgiveness for not being an encourager to others and will do my best to remedy that.

Well, I took my last dose of Paxil on Veteran's day. The past couple of days have been very hard . . . nausea, headache and zaps. Working full time is difficult with fibromyalgia and harder with these withdrawals.

I know that each person's experience is different but can any of you guess how long the nausea nonsense lasts? Two weeks? I hate nausea and am eating constantly to keep it at bay.

Re: An update

it looks like even though you had longer periods in between you still tapered down at high doses..ect..that is why you are not feeling that great..the best taper is the slowest and at 10%..trust me..i know..i am 9 months off and going through a really hard time...as for the nausea ..for me it lasted 6 months 24 hrs a day 7 days a week....everyone is different..if you find you really cannot deal with the withrawal..then maybe you should go back to the 5 mgs..stabilize there ..then go really slow..like 4.5..4.2..and down..and if you can get the liquid paxil..that would even help more..

Re: An update

Hi Hischildvalda, my nausea lasted a couple of weeks, and I had the same feeling , if I ate, I felt better. I actually gained a few pounds during that time.
Wishing you good health soon!!!!
