Any help for the dizziness?

Has anyone found anything that will at least alleviate the dizziness that so many of you have felt during this process? It is starting to really get to me, especially at night.

Re: Any help for the dizziness?

Ryan is dealing with the dizzyness, 3 1/2 years off Paxil. One of the things that we have discovered is that he needed more salt in his diet. He doesn't balance his fluids well(salt vs water) and if he doesn't have enough salt his blood pressure drops. He was on florinef for this for about 6 weeks, but is off now for 3 weeks and is doing well just making dietary changes. His "healthy" diet wasn't so healthy for him.
This is probably due to some adrenal gland disruption....due to paxil.

Yup... an unfortunate long term "side effect" of Paxil..thanks Laurie for sharing this.. I think your onto something about the adrenal glands being affected by Paxil..we see this popping up here an there about dizziness.

I also think it has to do with the actual blood flow, the small capillaries are shrunken due to the exposure to excessively high levels of serotonin..when the balance is restored? well thats hard to know...
