Suicide dream

I had the scariest dream last night.

I was walking around in a dark, shadowy locker room and i walked up to the mirror, pulled a gun up to my head and pulled the trigger.

I woke up in a panic and started feeling my head for blood or bullet wounds.

I've had dreams where people die, where I've killed people, but NEVER where I kill myself and actually watch it happen.

It was really scary and disturbing. I used to dream about going to the beach, having fun with friends, falling in love. What the hell is happening? and what exactly does this mean? should i be worried or is this just another lovely side effect of Paxil?

Re: Suicide dream

Vivid, horrificly violent and disturbing dreams were the reason I decided to quit Paxil after 10 months. They were one of the last sfx to go, but they did go.

Re: Suicide dream

The nightmares were the last to go for my daughter as well. They will eventually disappear.

Re: Suicide dream

I have horrible vivid dreams because it's a side affects of these meds. I do have bad dreams that shake me up once in a while.

Last night, I had a dream that I was sitting at the table with my aunt, grandma, and family for a holiday dinner. In the dream, I started to yell at my aunt for feeding the dog table scraps at the dining room for dinner. Then my dad told me to shut up, and both my father and my aunt were ganging up on me. I dealt with that by saying over and over again, "I am going to kill myself".
