UGH! Panic attack today!

Ugh!!!!! I had the worst panic attack today. So much to tell but I will keep it short. I'm on 10mg again. I'm going to just start tapering it in the summer... I can't handle going to school and trying to be stabilized.

Re: UGH! Panic attack today!

i just noticed you started it this past may? that's a tough call because the longer you're on it the harder it'll be to quit. I usually tell people not to take longer to get off than they were on it. Is this the first panic attack you've had since dropping to 5?

Re: UGH! Panic attack today!

If you're a person who suffers with panic attacks, you're still going to have to deal with them post Paxil. So, while getting off of the drug, you need to find alternative ways to deal with the attacks.

Scott's right - you don't want to stay on the drug any longer than necessary, but you need to also find alternatives to the problem that brought you to Paxil to begin with.
