B12 question

I got my blood test results from the doc this wk he said my red blood cells are too large usually this means a B12 is too low but he said mine is fine. The other cause is drinking too much alcohol. I do not drink can't recall the last drink I had it was that long ago. I had cysts in my liver and drinking caused pain I also gave up coffe on the advice of the liver specialist. The last ultrasound said the cysts are gone but I had a dozen ultrasounds where they never mentioned them. So I don't trust them. I only learned of the cysts from an mri of my liver as I was in constant pain for a few years. So they say the cysts are gone but they couldn't find them with an ultrasound only on an mri hence my trust issues.
Regardless of all that.... I asked the doc who in my shrink if this could be coming up repeatedly as there is a problem with my liver from all the ADs I have been on. He said it usually does not mean a liver issue. I still have pain and am told the liver is slightly fatty which is not suppose to cause pain.
So after I leave I am thinking this is the first blood test this guy has done in 10 years I had him as a doc. but several clinic blood test have consistantly showed the same results for years now. There was never any follow up to see what could be cuasing it but then there never really is at the clinic. So I call the doc back and leave a message saying could I just have a B12 shot anyway can it do any damage to me if I have too much? Maybe it will fix my blood cells and maybe I will feel better as a bonus that would be good. It has been days he has not called me back. So I know I can buy B12 without a script and I know a nurse who could give me the shot. Does anybody know if I get too much B12 is there a down side.
Has anyone tried the B2 shots while in withdrawal?
I have been taking a liquid B suppliment with 12 an other B in it.
Peace Sandy
